Clerk of Works

Chris joined Madlins as a Clerk of Works in 2023.

Chris has always been very passionate about the building industry; he began his career as a labourer in a family run House Building and Renovation company. Over a period of 16 years, Chris progressed from Labourer, to Carpenter, to Site Manager overseeing million-pound house build projects in the Oxfordshire area. In 2019, Chris retrained as a NHBC Building Inspector and specialised in inspecting new build houses and flats, overseeing the completion of many 600+ plot sites for builders such as Taylor Wimpey, Crest Nicholson, Bellway, L&G and Cala.

Chris has previously achieved an NVQ level 3 and 6 in Senior Site Inspection and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge within Construction Management and Quality Assurance. He is working towards becoming a full member of the Institute of Clerk of Works and Construction Inspectorate (ICWCI).

Outside of work, Chris enjoys playing golf, watching a variety of sports and spending time with his young family.
