Phillip Gaywood

Associate (Building Surveyor)

Phillip has over 25+ years’ experience in the property industry. He previously worked for Masons as a Land Surveyor, before re-training as Building Surveyor where he worked for KMP, a small architectural practice, before moving on to Stace and then RLB. Phillip joined Madlins as an Associate Building Surveyor in 2015.

Phillip is a Chartered Building Surveyor who has acted as Building Surveyor, Employer’s Agent and Independent Certifier for a wide range of projects & clients. He has been involved in projects from inception through to completion including providing services / advice with respect to procurement, preparing contract documentation and specifications, Party Wall Agreements, Measured Building Surveys, Topographical Surveys and Building Survey inspections.

Phillip’s experience extends across many sectors, including Housing, Residential, Education, Prisons, Commercial and Retail.

Outside of work, Phillip is a keen on sports including cycling, tennis and watersports.
